Vampire Knight = :heart:!!!

Is it just me or are good-looking vampires suddenly becoming really popular? I mean right now there's the Twilight movie coming out too. I know Twilight isn't the first in its genre...but it's one of the first to get so popular. By the way, since when did they start making vampires hotties? I wouldn't say Dracula was very hot. And Alucard in Hellsing...he was really cool, but he isn't exactly drop dead gorgeous like the vampires depicted nowadays.
This also seems to be more of a girl thing...as most guys I've talked to have NO IDEA what Twilight is. And it DOES always seem to be a human girl + a vampire boy.
:giggle: Hehe...I guess we like 'em bad.

So...Is this a new phase/fad? Hot vampires?
